Alison has been a student of yoga since 2000, and an instructor of yoga and adaptive recreation since 2005. She completed the 200+ hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher Training in November 2006 at It's Yoga in San Francisco, CA. Currently Alison is working towards the Level 1 certification of Thai Yoga Bodywork in Minneapolis, MN. She is excited to join the Allyu community both as a spa coordinator and workshop instructor.

Amber graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in 1999. She is Nationally Certified and State Licensed. She was a recent graduate of Oakton Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree and plans on pursuing a Bachelor's in Psychology. She has been trained in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Reiki levels I & II and Core Synchronism Level I.   The majority of her career was with the Art of Healing and she is excited to be a part of its transition into Allyu. Amber works intuitively with her clients and enjoys doing deep tissue work but can easily adapt to a client's needs.

Danijela is a graduate of the Skin Care and Spa Institute in Illinois. Prior to that, she was studying esthetics in Europe; Microdermabrasion, PCA Chemical peels and eyelash extensions. Her goal is to relax clients as much as possible and allow them to feel secure in her care.

Dina Casso is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She has extensive training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial techniques. Dina's approach to bodywork is both mindful and nurturing, focusing on optimal wellness for clients.

Douglas graduated from The Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2006. He gives excellent and artful massage integrating elements of Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports massage. Rhythm, symmetry, flow, continuity and completeness are hallmarks of his style.

Elizabeth has a holistic approach to healing. She is a licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist and also enjoys incorporating energy work into her treatments. She is thankful to have found Allyu where she can practice all of her specialties!

Gerri is a graduate from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and has been working full time since 2005. She is skilled in deep tissue, Swedish, pre-natal, hot stone, and reiki but specializes in neck, shoulder, back, and headache relief. Gerri's style is a blend of therapeutic touch and relaxing bodywork.

Heidi has been practicing therapeutic bodywork for over 10 years. She graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in 1997 where she was trained in Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, Polarity, and Reflexology. Since then she has also become certified in Core Synchronism, Structural Therapy, Herbal Medicine, and acupuncture. She specializes in combining Acupuncture, Massage, and Core Synchronism for deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatments.

Irena has extensive experience working at spas, performing all phases of nail care. She believes that every person should feel comfortable and be very satisfied with the quality of her service. She is happy to be working with a great team at Allyu Spa.

Jeff has 10 years of professional experience in therapeutic massage, 3 years professional experience in Bowen work and extensive training in the psycho-emotional and energetic aspects of bodywork.   He is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Hakomi  Institute of Boulder Colorado and the Bowen Academy of Australia.

Bowen work is a truly holistic therapy that gently encourages the body to self-release joint, muscle and facsial restrictions. All of the body's systems are stimulated and balanced in a Bowen work session. This approach has proven to be effective for many conditions that have not responded to more conventional approaches.

Jennifer has been a model in the fashion industry for twenty years. Knowing the frustrations for keeping her own skin clear, and also wanting to help others with their problematic skin, she decided to attend The Aveda Institute in 2005 to obtain her esthetician license. In addition to her licensure course, several of Jennifer's many independent studies include an Advanced Medical Esthetics Certificate from True University, an internship at the office of cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr. Dayan, and over 100 hours of classes at the International Dermal Institute. Approaching her life and practice holistically, Jennifer offers soothing treatments that work with the body's chakras and energy levels from the inside out.

Kaicy is one of the awesome coordinators here at Allyu. She likes to take long walks and longer naps. Kaicy also enjoys trees and tries to recycle as best she can. She probably loves you a little.

Kari Lynn was raised by a progressive nurse and as a result has a vast understanding about the importance of nurturing.  She began her healing arts journey at The Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts in 1998. After completing the 2 year intensive bodywork program she began working there as a receptionist and as an apprentice bodywork practitioner.  Once again, Kari Lynn was fortunate to have found mentors of such high caliber.  In 2002, she decided to experience city life and moved to Chicago.  Since her arrival to the Windy City Kari Lynn has worked on 5 feature films all shot here in the city, volunteered with the homeless and kids at Children’s Hospital, and will soon graduate from DePaul University with an Undergraduate Degree in Marketing.  Forever a bodyworker, Kari Lynn is a skilled therapist and is trained in a wide variety of modalities including integrative, polarity, relaxation, cranio-sacral, reflexology, pre-natal, hot stone, and acupressure.  The client experience and quality work are two factors that have always been important to Kari Lynn and she is grateful to have the community here at Allyu to share in those values.

Karyn holds a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. Also a graduate of the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, she incorporates over eleven years of experience as a massage therapist and core synchronism practitioner into her acupuncture treatments.

Lisa is a licensed acupuncturist and certified herbalist, assists you in achieving your potential from the perspectives of Chinese Medicine and Nutrition. A graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with an MSTOM (Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine) maintains a practice open to all concerns. She began her practice as an art therapist counseling individuals, couples, groups and children coping with terminal and chronic illness, substance abuse or domestic violence. She has a creative bent towards healthy, gluten and refined sugar-free cooking.
Relaxed and approachable, she takes each moment one needle at a time allowing the client, the condition, or intuition to influence the next step while remaining focused on the treatment plan.

Mary is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and is currently studying at the Chicago School of Thai Massage. She enjoys exploring modalities that facilitate a return to safety within the body while keeping an open heart and mind to the unknown. This, she believes, is a wonderful way to nurture a healing sense of stillness as well as create a path towards movement and growth.

Sara trained in massage therapy at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She has been a body worker for 6 years and has studied a variety of modalities, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, body mobilization technique, Thai yoga massage, sports massage, hot stone therapy, and Reiki. Through listening to the body, Sara skillfully and intuitively integrates these therapies to create a deep, nurturing, and effective treatment that addresses each individual's needs and assists in the body's own healing power. Sara is honored to be doing this work and believes strongly in accessible bodywork to facilitate change in each individual as part of healing for the larger community.

Shadia graduated from Everest College with a Dean's list Diploma in 2004. She incorporates a variety of modalities in her treatment. She is trained in Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal, hot stone, and therapeutic massage. She is a national certified and Illinois state licensed. Since then she has had continued education in lymphatic drainage massage and cupping massage. Shadia specializes in women's massage experience healing and integration of the mind, body and spirit.

Tiffany is a proud member of Allyu and serves the community as a front desk coordinator.  She is excited to begin her training as a doula this year and expects to continue learning and growing from the wonderful people she's been so fortunate to meet.  Tiffany hopes that as you arrive and depart Allyu Spa she can help make you feel relaxed and well cared for.  

Treesha
is trained specifically in the Ingham method of foot, hand and ear reflexology. She received her training at Wellness Massage & Training Institute (WMTI) in Woodridge, Il. Before transitioning to Allyu, Treesha was with Art of Healing in Wicker Park since the summer of 2002. Treesha is also one of our nail technicians offering natural manicures and pedicures.
